I studied Economics at Yale and later earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, which gave me a solid foundation in finance, governance, and strategic decision-making. After working in investment banking and private equity for four years, I had the opportunity to see how investors think about businesses, board structures, and founder relationships. But my real education in board management came from the 15 years I spent building two startups—one in Latin America, a mobile taxi booking app, and another in Europe, a German health-tech company. I raised over €80 million in funding across pre-seed to Series B stages, working with investors and board members from the US, Germany, Switzerland, France, Denmark, Austria, Argentina, Brazil, and Chile.
